Clinicexpert Statement Regarding Death Reports

We feel compelled to address the partially accurate but largely false and misleading reports circulating in the media. These reports, often copied from other news outlets and embellished without proper investigation, have caused unnecessary concern and misinformation.

Plastic Surgery Procedures in Turkey

First, let us clarify the structure of plastic surgery services in Turkey. There are two main types of services:

  • Surgeries performed by in-house plastic surgeons affiliated with hospitals and clinics.
  • Surgeries conducted by independent plastic surgeons who rent operating rooms from hospitals for their procedures.
The BBL (Brazilian Butt Lift) operation at Clinicexpert that tragically resulted in death was not performed by one of our in-house plastic surgeons. Instead, it was conducted by an independent surgeon who rented operating room facilities from us. For this reason, Clinicexpert cannot be held responsible for the outcome of this incident.

Our Track Record

For 14 years, Clinicexpert has provided operating room facilities to both its in-house doctors and hundreds of independent plastic surgeons. Holding the entire clinic and its doctors accountable for a single unfortunate death seems unjust and disproportionate.

Organ Theft Allegations

Another false claim in the media involves alleged organ theft, with reports suggesting missing brain, heart, and parts of the intestines. Following the tragic incident, Clinicexpert transferred the body to Turkey's official forensic institution, The Council of Forensic Medicine, to investigate the cause of death. As part of standard autopsy procedures, tissue samples were taken from certain organs for examination.

  • A brain transplant is not possible with current medical technology.
  • Heart transplants require the entire organ and cannot be conducted using small samples.
Therefore, the allegations of organ theft are entirely baseless.

Media Responsibility

The above events and their context demonstrate that these reports lack proper investigation and are aimed at creating unnecessary speculation. These stories have been sensationalized with additional, unfounded details to attract attention. We leave the final judgment to you, based on the facts presented here.
